The drain in the trash room is backed up and overflowing, so we had to temporarily close the room until we can get the line cleared. Please either take your recyclables to the 1st floor trash room, outside or hold them until the 5th floor room reopens. We also had to close the 6th floor Harvard bathroom until the line is cleared.

We called in Super Plumbing to clear the line but they won’t be here for about an hour and it could take a while to get the line clear.

This is not the first time this has occurred. In the past and with the back up, we can see paper towels etc clogging the drain. We request that residents refrain from flushing paper towels or wipes down the toilet as this often leads to back ups, which in turn causing damage and extra expense to have the lines cleared.
