I hope everyone is enjoying their summer, the extra hours of daylight and the lovely pool area.
Today, our pool management company, IM Pools, notified us of staffing issues they’ve been facing throughout the summer. To this point, IM has been able to cover shifts and continue to provide us with the services we have come to expect from their company. As they begin to recognize their working students going back to colleges, and/or starting their fall sports seasons, IM anticipates potential staffing shortages in the coming weeks.
In recognizing this issue, IM wanted to be proactive in providing us with clarity as they begin to face these challenges.
We know they appreciate our business and they felt it is very important to provide us with complete transparency as they begin to wrap up the summer pool season.
IM has stated that they will do everything in their power to provide us with the staff necessary to avoid unwanted pool closures. IM will provide us with as much notice as possible so we can alert you to the fact that no lifeguard will be on duty at a specific day and time.
We do have the availability to open the pool area for residents but please note that if a lifeguard is not on duty, you will not be able to bring guests to the pool.
As always, we appreciate your understanding in this matter.
